Living in Wonderland

Culture not only brings us beauty, inspiration, hope and excitement, but it can also take us into a wonderland with lasting sense of euphoria.

We East Coast premiered Christopher Wheeldon’s ballet “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” with The National Ballet of Canada at the Kennedy Center this week.

Everything about this production is magical! The set, the choreography, the costumes, the music… MAGIC! “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” was commissioned by The Royal Ballet and The National Ballet of Canada and premiered in February 2011.

This was the first full score that British composer Joby Talbot had composed for The Royal Ballet in 20 years! The music is absolutely stunning in so many different ways. It takes me to a perfect world filled with vivid colors with everything in harmony and in peace.

Culture is really an essential part of our character and of our personal happiness! Everyone should experience this Wonderland. There will be eight more performances of this fantastic ballet through the 27th.
