Just one year ago, I was very sad to say goodbye to Maestro Domingo from WNO after his 15-year tenure. Placido Domingo is responsible for elevating the Washington National Opera to one of the world’s top tier companies. His passion, musicianship, professionalism, perfectionism and idealism will be missed!

He became my mentor and will be my inspiration forever…

Christina Scheppelmann and Placido Domingo brought the finest artists from around the world into perfect harmony on and off stage. Through WNO and the Kennedy Center, I have collaborated with the most amazing artists of our time.

I wish them both all success and happiness. I am thankful for their incredible influence in my life and in my career.
